She is the founder and Managing Partner of C.K Nyabuto Advocates that has since been converted to CKN Advocates LLP. Cynthia Kemunto holds a Master of Laws Degree from The University of Nairobi (LL.M), a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) (Hons) acquired at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a Post Graduate Diploma acquired from Kenya School of Law (KSL).

 

She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya of over 8 years standing, within which period, she has undertaken work and achieved in-depth expertise in civil litigation, Land Law and Conveyancing, corporate, commercial and company law, Family law, Energy Law, Public Procurement and Disposal Law, Constitutional Law, Environmental Law and Alternative Dispute Resolutions.

She has gained a wealth of experience having previously been employed by the firm of AGN Kamau Advocates that has been in existence for over 45years and
worked in its various departments. The writer hereof, other than being an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a notary public and commissioner for oaths, is also a Certified Mediator, member of the Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya -Section 2 holder, and an Associate of the Kenya Institute of Arbitrators.
