He is a holder of Bachelors of Laws Degree (LL.B) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa . He also holds a masters degree in intellectual property from Africa University (AU) based in Mutare, Zimbabwe.

He holds an advanced certificate in intellectual property management from World intellectual property organization (WIPO) Academy. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya of 2 years standing. The anchor specializes in civil litigation, family law and intellectual property law heading the intellectual property team. He has gained a lot of experience working at Vilgro Africa, African Regional Intellectual Property Organization and currently at CKN Advocates LLP.
